1. Theme 1 – mobility and crisis
ECDPM Page 4
- Mobility in violent and unstable contexts – culture in stable settings or transitions è not the same approach?
- PRINCIPLES AND IDEAS à action:
1. Mobility of artists in conflict à cultural corridors / cultural spaces
2. Dealing with the past & heritage mobility à Mobility of memory, bringing critical heritage to people
3. Mobility outside the crisis area – Mobility to win peace / Cultural rest & recuperation
4. Multingual mobility – “inject modernity in Arabic language”
“We are the bees of the invisible. We wildly collect the honey of the visible, to store it in the great golden hive of the invisible” Rilke

How to ensure the bees do their job, keep living as a family, and are able to make them lives travel ?
1. Theme 2 – mobility, development and migration
ECDPM Page 6
- Development agenda is changing (SDG) and migrations (in Europe’s policies at least) are becoming (at last) a priority –
è Perhaps new opportunity to cooperate with Europeans?
- PRINCIPLES AND IDEAS à action:
1. Mobility of trust-building bridges: free cultural ambassadors are highly needed – cultural creations are ambassadors themselves. à pilot projects on free cultural ambassadors to be funded with enough time (with an advocacy dimension)
2. Mobility makes bees’ lives possible transporting universally needed pollen; know-how/skills transfer enabler, mobility of solutions & mobility of people
3. Theme 3 – The HOW ?
ECDPM Page 7
1. Financing: linking philanthropy to SDG funding potential,
other funding potential, the “local” level, and mobility for financing (and policy)?
2. Crises: How to fund emergency mobility? Rapid Response Mechanism
3. Being heard: voice and policies: who is ready to be political in the long term? Build more alliances
