Principle Contract Carries out Full Refurbishment Without Interrupting a Single Castle Bingo Game Previously owned by another bingo chain, Castle Leisure’s Bingo Bootle club was in desperate need of a makeover. On behalf of the client, HLN Architects asked Principle Contract to carry out a full interior and exterior refurbishment. When Castle Leisure acquired the Bootle club it was tired and dreary and had not been updated in nearly 15 years. The new owner was keen to bring the club up to Castle Bingo brand standard and improve the leisure experience for club members. The brief included reconfiguring the layout to incorporate raised seating areas, a VIP balcony room 5-star standard washrooms, new carpeting and seating and reception, sales and service counters. Principle Contract was also tasked with mechanical and electrical works and a variety of alterations as well as full redecoration both inside and out. Principle Graphics added extra value with door and glazing graphics and logos for balustrades and panels doors. Principle Secure also contributed by providing a secure Cash Pass Screen between the Cash Office and Cash Counting Room. From initial contact to the final handover, design and construction took just 26 weeks. Yet perhaps the most remarkable aspect of the project was that Principle fulfilled the entire job without disrupting the club’s normal, daily business. Castle Bingo Bootle’s metamorphosis continued seamlessly, carefully accommodating the needs of both Castle Leisure staff and members, and fulfilling any noisy or intrusive works out of hours.

Previously owned by another bingo chain, Castle Leisure’s Bingo Bootle club was in desperate need of a makeover. On behalf of the client, HLN Architects asked Principle Contract to carry out a full interior and exterior refurbishment. When Castle Leisure acquired the Bootle club it was tired and dreary and had not been updated in nearly 15 years.
