Back in June, the PUB and FOTB celebratedReunions2006withour9thannualpostP-radetent,anannual tradition that brings Princetonians young andoldtogethertoreminisceandcelebratethehistoryoftheBand.Asyouwillseefromthepicturesinsidethismailing,astrongcrowdgatheredunderourtenttoenjoyrefreshments,viewphotoalbums,andexchangeBandstoriestogether. The PUB has already taken the field this fall atTiger Football games and cheered our team towardsvictory.BandPresidentMaryGallery ’07reports thatfallrecruitingeffortshavealreadyattractedmanynewfreshmen members to our favorite plaid-clad musicalgroup.Onthatpositivenote,itismypleasuretoupdateyou regarding FOTB’s fundraising achievements overthelastyear.

Endowment Foundedin1999,thePrincetonUniversityBandEndowmentcontributescrucialfundingtotheBandinperpetuity.AsofJune30,2006,theEndowmentbal-ancetotaledalmost$120,000.Atthisinvestmentlevel,theEndowmentnowcontributesover$6,500annuallytowardstothePUB’sbudget,areliablefundingsourcethathelpswithlargecapitalexpenses.

Operating Fund During FY2006 ( July 1, 2005 through June 30,2006),FOTBmembersraised$23,392fortheOperatingFund.Thisamountwasthesecond-highestyearlyFOTBfundraising total in FOTB’s history.
