This September TOPS Musical Productions will be presenting
the smash hit Broadway & West End Musical The Producers
at the Princess Theatre, Torquay.
Written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, this musical tells
the story of a theatrical producer and his accountant who think
they can make their fortune by getting investors to invest in a
Broadway musical about the Nazi Party, and by ensuring that it is
a flop, can close it quickly and run off with the money! However,
due to its satirical brilliance and catchy songs, like I Wanna Be a
Producer and Springtime for Hitler, the show is a huge success
and their plan backfires. They are found out and sent to prison,
only to produce yet another hit musical Prisoners of Broadway.
Suitable for ages 12+.

Having enjoyed sensational reviews, Bill Kenwright’s ‘Amazing’,
‘Superb’, ‘Wonderful’ and ‘Brilliant’ production of Tim Rice and
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling family musical continues
to enjoy huge success across the country with standing
ovations at every performance.
Fresh from the hit television series STEPS: On The Road Again
and a 20 date sold out arena tour, Ian ‘H’ Watkins is delighted
to reprise the role of Joseph which he first played in
London’s West End in 2005.
Ian became a household name as ‘H’ with the 90s pop
phenomenon STEPS who have produced 3 hit number 1 albums, he
entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2007 and has starred
in television, radio and in West End shows including;
Make Me a Song, Fame and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

THE MUSICAL FOR ALL TIME
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers tells
the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at
birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet
again with fateful consequences. The superb score includes
Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally
charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.
Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-
award winning Blood Brothers. Bill Kenwright’s production
recently surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End,
one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone. It has
been affectionately christened the Standing Ovation Musical,
as inevitably it; ‘BRINGS THE AUDIENCE CHEERING TO ITS FEET AND ROARING ITS APPROVAL’

WRITTEN BY BEN ELTON
Rod Stewart is quite simply one of the best selling recording
artists of all time in a career spanning five decades. Tonight’s The
Night, the smash hit West End musical comedy inspired by the songs of
Rod is the all-singing, all-dancing feel good show which went on to play
sold-out theatres across the UK. Tonight’s The Night is back and now is
your chance to rediscover the magic of timeless classic songs, from
Maggie May to Baby Jane and Hot Legs to Sailing plus many more!
Set on the mean streets of Detroit and in the glamorous clubs of
uptown LA, Tonight’s The Night tells the story of a shy young man,
so tongue tied that he cannot find the courage to declare his love to
the girl of his dreams. How different he is to his hero, that legendary
rock n’ roll vagabond Rod Stewart - now there’s a guy who never had
any trouble hitting on a girl! One night our hero strikes a deal with the
Devil, trading his soul for Rod’s. It seems like a good idea at the time
but this guy is about to find out the hard way that you can’t find
true love using another man’s moves and that Devil or no Devil,
there’s only one Rod Stewart!
Written by multi award-winning writer and comedian Ben Elton (We
Will Rock You) this sensational musical comedy features spectacular
staging, a world class band and dazzling choreography.
