Learning & practising how to apply PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project within an environment supporting PRINCE2

Course Description

Our PRINCE2 Practitioner is a 2 day course with the official AXELOS PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam sat on day 2. It consists of PRINCE2 application practice using delegates’ own projects and sample Practitioner exam papers, as well as of Practitioner exam strategy & techniques explanation and practice. The course is led by one of our PRINCE2 Approved Trainers. Before attending this course the delegates must have taken a PRINCE2 Foundation course and exam either through POTIFOB or another Examination institute accredited PRINCE2 provider (or acquired the needed knowledge by self study). For maximum effectiveness and high exam success probability, we strongly recommend our students to dedicate 10-20 hours to pre-course preparation using materials and instructions provided by us instructions (in addition to the 10-20 hours needed for Foundation level preparation). We further recommend spreading this pre-course preparation evenly across ca. 2 weeks before the course. The course can be delivered in Czech, Slovak, English or German. Training materials are available in English. The exam can be taken in English, German, French, Spanish, Polish or in one of a few other languages. At the end of the course delegates can take the AXELOS PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam (provided they take the PRINCE2 Foundation exam first).

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is aimed to measure whether a candidate is able to apply PRINCE2 to managing a non-complex project in an environment supporting PRINCE2. The candidate needs to exhibit the competence required for the Foundation qualification, and show that s/he can apply and tailor PRINCE2 to address the needs and problems of a given project scenario. Specifically:

Know or comment on detailed explanations of all processes, themes and techniques and examples of all PRINCE2 management products as they might be applied to address the particular circumstances of a given project scenario.

Demonstrate that s/he understands the relationships between processes, themes, techniques and PRINCE2 management products and can apply this understanding.

Demonstrate s/he understands the reasons behind the processes, themes and techniques of PRINCE2.

Demonstrate his/her ability to tailor PRINCE2 to different project environments.
