Dear Parents/Guardians;“SAVE THE DATE”

We are please to announce that our School Advisory Council (SAC) has been busy planning for their school fundraisers to support our school playground initiative. This year, in lieu of a Fun Fair, the following Fundraisers have been decided on.

SAC is putting together a Family Community Event and Fundraiser on April 27th from 5:30pm-7:30pm, in hopes of bringing our school community together and raise money towards the new school playground, which we are hoping to break ground on this coming Spring/Summer!

The theme of the night is “Movies and Donuts”. We will launch our Krispy Kreme fundraiser on Monday February 24th, 2020 and pickup will be on April 27th anytime between 3:00 (ish) p.m. and 7:30pm at Prince Phillip (Donut pick-up in Mississauga is at 12:00 and SAC volunteers will make their way with traffic for ETA of 3:00).

Movie Night details:

Day – April 27th, 2020Time – 5:30pm-7:30pm

We will play two movies for our different age groups. One in the gym that will be family friendly and one in the Learning Commons, still age appropriate, but geared more towards grades 6-8 (grade 6-8 students can also bring board games to play in the Learning Commons). Students will have input and will be decided at a later date.

Keep an eye on School Cash Online to purchase the following items to enjoy on Movie Night. (Water and Popcorn will also be available to purchase at the school on the night of)

Tickets will go home with families on April 24th – they can cash those tickets in that evening for the items purchased.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket). Please note that this is not a drop and go event. Parents are to accompany their child(ren).
