As I’m sitting here on this 90-degree Pennsylvania day, I’m thinking that only in the

retail world could we be thinking of Halloween and Christmas while the air conditioning

is working overtime. But that’s the way our business works, and this summer PBK has

some great new products that will be ready to bring you excitement this Halloween and

Christmas.

PBK has always been about good looks and fun, and now that we’ve added function to

some of our fun products, we’ve been able to appeal to a new audience. Our new line of

functional box sign accessories includes our lively trash cans, as well as our wine holders

and wine racks, and they’ve all proved to be big successes.

In April, I went to China and came back thrilled about the new lines that are under

development and that we’ll be introducing in January. For me, that trip highlighted one of the true joys of this business. Sometimes I find myself

wondering where the next great product or idea will come from, but our team of designers is continuously coming up with great new concepts,

and our manufacturers are doing a superb job of producing the new lines.

I’m truly blessed to work with so many talented people and to have such a fantastic staff here in

our office and our warehouse. So thanks to our designers, our manufacturing

partners, our team here in Lancaster, and our wonderful retail partners, we’re

now having our best year ever.

On the family front, things are interesting and good. Daughter Rosie has

recently reached the age of driving. She has her permit, and she’s getting her

best training from my mother, who’s a much better driving teacher than I

am. Son Ben has done well at Harrisburg Area Community College, and

he’ll be heading off to James Madison University to study business and

entrepreneurship in the fall.

The youngest member of our family, Bella, our Newfoundland

puppy, has reached the 100-pound mark, and she’s a very active

little girl. Her breed excels at water rescues, and she’s discovered

that she loves swimming and hiking. She is often an accessory

in my office.

And speaking of PBK’s hometown of Lancaster, we all felt

very good when a recent Gallup poll came out and said that

94.7% of the people living in Lancaster County are satisfied

with the quality of life here, and that’s the best score of

any place in the entire country.

So let me close with my thanks for all of your hard

work and for making this our best year ever. And

because of you, I feel confident that nothing is ever

so good that it can’t get even better.

As I’m sitting here on this 90-degree Pennsylvania day, I’m thinking that only in the

retail world could we be thinking of Halloween and Christmas while the air conditioning

is working overtime. But that’s the way our business works, and this summer PBK has

some great new products that will be ready to bring you excitement this Halloween and

Christmas.

PBK has always been about good looks and fun, and now that we’ve added function to

some of our fun products, we’ve been able to appeal to a new audience. Our new line of

functional box sign accessories includes our lively trash cans, as well as our wine holders

and wine racks, and they’ve all proved to be big successes.

In April, I went to China and came back thrilled about the new lines that are under

development and that we’ll be introducing in January. For me, that trip highlighted one of the true joys of this business. Sometimes I find myself

wondering where the next great product or idea will come from, but our team of designers is continuously coming up with great new concepts,

and our manufacturers are doing a superb job of producing the new lines.

I’m truly blessed to work with so many talented people and to have such a fantastic staff here in

our office and our warehouse. So thanks to our designers, our manufacturing

partners, our team here in Lancaster, and our wonderful retail partners, we’re

now having our best year ever.

On the family front, things are interesting and good. Daughter Rosie has

recently reached the age of driving. She has her permit, and she’s getting her

best training from my mother, who’s a much better driving teacher than I

am. Son Ben has done well at Harrisburg Area Community College, and

he’ll be heading off to James Madison University to study business and

entrepreneurship in the fall.

The youngest member of our family, Bella, our Newfoundland

puppy, has reached the 100-pound mark, and she’s a very active

little girl. Her breed excels at water rescues, and she’s discovered

that she loves swimming and hiking. She is often an accessory

in my office.

And speaking of PBK’s hometown of Lancaster, we all felt

very good when a recent Gallup poll came out and said that

94.7% of the people living in Lancaster County are satisfied

with the quality of life here, and that’s the best score of

any place in the entire country.

So let me close with my thanks for all of your hard

work and for making this our best year ever. And

because of you, I feel confident that nothing is ever

so good that it can’t get even better.
