The founder of PrimaTrade, Ismail R Razak , is also the founder as well as the President & CEO of a successful business network in the aviation industries for the last 2 decades. The subsidiary companies , agents and customers are located in many different countries throughout the Asian continent.His first job in 1977 was with the agent of Caterpillar in Indonesia as the Support Services Supervisor and was responsible for the coordination of various activities in more than 33 branch offices throughout Indonesia in the area of customer support. He joined Good Year marketing management in Indonesia in 1983 and was responsible to reform the company's nation wide marketing strategy due to competition from Japanese and other local manufacturers.

The group is named CEPOT which stands for Comprehensive Energy Products Organized Traders.In the Indonesian wayang / puppet show, CEPOT is a name given to a character that despite of his appearance plays a significant role in giving the advice of wisdom to his masters in the time of need.

STEAM COAL

PrimaTrade established close cooperation with dozens of mining companies from small up to medium size operations and given the supply guarantee to provide over 1 million metric tons of steam coal of various calorific values.Major supplies of steam coal for export come from over 10 major operations in South Kalimantan. The stockpiles are either jointly owned or leased. The distance between the mining operations and the stockpile ranges from 10 km to 60 km. The distance between the stockpiles and the loading jetty is averaged at 30 km. Each crusher at the stockpile has an average capacity of 65.000 MT per month

• PrimaTrade signed an exclusive agreement with Sucofindo for the management and control of quality and quantity to ensure elimination of potentials penalty and rejection on the coal supplied.

Sucofindo is the first inspection institution in Indonesia and was established on October 22, 1956. The Indonesian government is the major shareholder with 95% ownership and the Societe Generale de Surveillance Holding SA [SGS] hold the remaining 5%

Sucofindo performs the inspection based on the Standard of Procedures, which refer to international and national standards, including SNI [Indonesian National Standards], ASTM [American Society for Testing and Material], BS [British Standard], ISO [International Organization for Standardization], JIS [Japanese Standards] and AS [Australian Standard]
