Primary research method

To create a successful movie poster first I needed to find out what makes a good movie poster by researching what my audience would like to see on the poster. The method I have chosen to carry out my primary research is a online questionnaire. I felt a online questionnaire would be more affective than a traditional paper questionnaire as a online version would allow me to distribute it to more people at once furthermore saving time in the process.

This data I will collect will act as a strong foundation for developing my film poster. Through this research I have been able to understand the target audiences preferences , key elements of a poster and the demands. More clearly and by following the research, I can now produce a film poster that has maximum potential of being successful.

Conclusion

The results of my research show that the majority of my audiences gender is male (64%) , and the age of my audience is 16 to 18.
