Irritrol Trade Warranty

Irritrol Policies and Procedures

Excluding software and products formerly produced under the Rain Master® brand name, Irritrol® offers the following coverage to its trade customers:For the first year from the date of original sale to the trade customer, “hassle-free” over-the-counter exchange of products found to have original manufacturing defects; and for years two through five from the date of original sale to the trade customer, repair or replacement—at our option and without charge—of all parts which are found to have original manufacturing defects, provided the product is returned to the original place of purchase or sent to the Irritrol repair facility at 5825 Jasmine St., Riverside, CA 92504, at the customer’s expense.

All Rain Master “R M E” Series Controllers have a 5-year (5-yr) warranty; all other Rain Master products, including; Pro-Max™ remotes, Flow Sensors, Sentar II™ and TWICE™ Controllers have a 2-year (2-yr) warranty.

All PC-related software, which includes but is not limited to, Evolution™, AIM, Advanced ET, OASIS™, Weather Station, etc, have a 90-day warranty. All computer hardware purchased from Irritrol in conjunction with its PC-related software is NOT covered by any Irritrol warranty. Computer hardware and its installed operating system(s) is specifically covered by the hardware manufacturer’s warranty as provided by the hardware manufacturer.

This warranty does not apply to loss or damage to the product due to improper installation, abuse, alteration, mishandling, accident, or if the product has been serviced by other than Irritrol or its authorized service centers. This warranty is not a consumer warranty and does not extend to anyone other than those trade customers who purchase Irritrol products.

NOTE: Irritrol is not liable for (i) failure of products not manufactured by Irritrol even though such products may be sold or used in conjunction with Irritrol products; (ii) indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to vegetation loss during periods of malfunction or resulting non-use; (iii) any loss or damage (e.g., property damage) resulting from an installer’s negligence; or (iv) implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

In no event shall Irritrol be liable or in any way responsible for any damages or defects in the product which were caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than an authorized Irritrol/Service dealer or center.

This warranty supersedes all previous warranties and shall be the sole and exclusive warranty granted by Irritrol and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the tradecustomer. Correction of defects, in the manner and period of time described herein, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Irritrol to the trade customer with respect to the product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise.

NOTE: The user is cautioned that changes and modifications made to the equipment without the express written consent of the manufacturer will void this warranty.

OrdersOrders must be placed in bag/carton quantities as indicated. Orders that do not meet this criteria will be rounded up to full carton quantities prior to shipment and noted on your order confirmation.

Minimum Order: $100.00 Net. This minimum applies to whole goods orders only and not to orders for parts, repair or literature.

Late ChargeAll invoices not paid by the net due date will be subject to a service charge of the lesser of 1½% per month (18% annual percentage rate), or the highest rate then permitted by applicable law.

Credit TermsDating terms, as well as all open account credit terms, are made available to those customers which the company's credit department determines to be credit-worthy.Customers may participate in buying programs or enjoy open account dating terms only as long as such credit-worthiness, as determined by the company, is maintained.If such credit-worthiness is not maintained, dating terms on future purchases may be revoked, or all outstanding customer obligations under open account shall become immediately due. Either action may be taken at the company's option and upon written notice to the customer. If an unresolved credit issue extends beyond 30 days, open orders may be subject to shipment hold or cancellation.

Freight TermsIrritrol will ship Freight Prepaid any orders valued at a minimum of USD $1,200.00 net (in the contiguous U.S.) or USD $3,500.00 net (Canada) and can include any products in this price list. Orders that are less than $1,200.00 net (or $3,500 net in Canada) will be charged a 9% shipping charge for ground shipments.

- Freight charges for emergency order shipments are paid by the distributor. This includes next-day delivery, second-day delivery, and anypremium service or special delivery request.

Special Order ItemsSpecial Order items may not be returned for any reason.

Claims for ShortageAll claims for shortage should be made in writing, by fax or phone to our Order Services Department within 30 days of receipt of goods. If not reported within 30 days, claim may be refused.

Defective Goods Return PolicyTo return defective products, please obtain an RGA by sending an email to [email protected]. Upon receipt of RGA confirmation, return the product and a copy of the RGA confirmation to the address indicated.
