Company History and Overview of Operations Price Construction has been building highways, oilfield roads & locations, commercial site pads, wind and solar farms, subdivisions and airports along with providing aggregates, paving materials and transportation services for 50 years. The Company began operating in 1962 as a partnership and was incorporated in 1972. Our strategy of growing the Company organically and maintaining a strong balance sheet has served us well through the oilfield and construction industry cycles. We have maintained a low debt structure and rarely use our bank lines of credit to support working capital needs. Through our affiliate, Laredo Paving, Inc. we produce and provide construction materials and transportation services for our own self-performed projects, as well as, for third party customers.

To provide better support to our clients that cover a large part of the state of Texas generally, and most of the Permian Basin, in particular, we have job and quarry/material locations throughout the state of Texas.

We utilize a fleet of over 1,000 pieces of heavy equipment, including bull dozers, excavators, motor graders, loaders, compaction rollers, portable rock crushers, asphalt distributors, hot mix pavers, portable hot-mix plants and trucks, as well as, portable light plants, generators, pumps and other ancillary equipment to complete our projects. We have found over the years that owning and controlling a large subset of the equipment needed to perform our contract project work has served us and our clients well.

We have the in-house resources to perform material exploration and QCQA testing. We currently have approximately 300 employees, including professional civil engineers, supervisors, estimators, project equipment managers, truck drivers, project managers and contract managers, as well as administrative maintenance and survey personnel.

We have successfully performed work for the Texas Department of Transportation for many years and currently have a bonding capacity of $100 Million.

Project and Fleet Management To manage the demands of today’s business, we use state-of-the-art project scheduling software to support timely successful completion of our project in line with client budgets and completion schedules. We also use commercially available, modern software technology for estimating, dispatching, job cost management, equipment fleet management and GPS tracking software to support our self-performed projects throughout of system.
