GPDP and Poverty Reduction Plans
Provide technical support for preparing Gram Panchayat Development Plans (GPDP) at all the NRLM resource blocks of the partner states.
Provide technical support to all the intensive blocks to prepare Poverty Reduction Plan using the existing LRGs and Internal Mentors of existing blocks. This will be achieved by:
preparation of handbook on Poverty Reduction Plan (PRP)
training the existing LRGs and I-mentors using the handbook and placing them at the intensive blocks.
Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan(RGSA)
RGSA focusses on building the capabilities of the PRIs to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals. It seeks to enhance capabilities of the Panchayat for inclusive local governance with focus on optimum utilisation of available resources and convergence with other schemes and departments to address various developmental issues. Kudumbashree can provide support to RGSA in;
Capacity Building of PRIs and SHG network.
Strengthening Gram Sabhas as a forum of local governance through people’s participation.
Facilitate the SHG network in the preparation of comprehensive plan for the local development; which can be further integrated with GPDP plans.
Formation of institutional platforms for addressing the developmental needs at the Gram Panchayat level.
Identification of right beneficiaries for various livelihood activities.
