BASIC INFORMATION
PCC SE
PCC Intermodal SA belongs to the PCC Group - based in Duisburg (Germany).
PCC SE has been operating on the market since 1993. Currently the group employs over
3.500 people. It is located in 41 sites in 18 countries all over the world (mainly Europe).
Three main areas of capital group investments are: chemicals, energy & logistics.
PCC Intermodal SA organizes regular intermodal connections between inland terminals in Poland:
Kutno, Brzeg Dolny, Gliwice, Kolbuszowa, Poznań; Germany: Frankfurt (Oder), Duisburg, Rotterdam
(NL), Brest (BY) and main sea ports in our part of Europe: Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Rotterdam,
Gdańsk & Gdynia.
In partnership with other operators it provides intermodal services also to Scandinavia, Austria and
to the East (both Europe & Asia). For customers interested in transporting to the East, the company offers
regular rail connection to Brest (BY) 2-3 times a week, from where further shipments to Belarus, Russia,
Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kirgistan,China, Japan and Korea are possible.
PCC Intermodal operates at intermodal market since 2005.
The company activly develops regular network of intermodal
connections, organising full intermodal services on the bases of own
fleet and terminal infrastructure.
Per annual PCC Intermodal organises over 5 000 intermodal trains and
around 400 door-door deliveris daily.
Having own locomotives (shuntting & track), rail platforms and trucks
operator ensure reliable services on the regular bases.
In 2018 the company has operated almost 280 thousand TEU,
generating turnover of over 84mEUR.
INTERMODAL TRAINS & TRUCKS
PCC Intermodal operates between main marine terminals and inland.
Until 2018 it has invested over 65mEUR in terminal infrastructure,
transshipment facility & operations in Poland. The operator work
on 4 new intermodal investment projects to be developed and fully
facilitated before 2030 for further intermodal transport growth. At the
moment company manages 4 modern intermodal hubs, located in:
Central Poland, Upper and Lower Silesia Regions and on the German
Side: in Berlin and Brandenburg Area. All PCC terminals are build and
modernised by PCC Intermodal with the suport of EU Funds. Terminals
are open and public for any rail provided interested in using its’ facility.

For intra-european flows the company is operating own 45 HC PW
containers fleet.
Internal containers parametres are:
Length: 13,5 m / Width: 2,4 m / Height: 2,69 m (door height: 2,58 m)
what allows to transport up to 33 euro paletts inside.
Containers tare is over 4 tonnes
and payload 29,7 tonnes with maximum gross weight: 34 tonnes.
Currently PCC Intermodal fleet is available for direct logistics’ projects
in: Poland, Netherlands (Rotterdam) and Germany (Ruhr Area).

At all PCC Intermodal terminals plus in Kolbuszowa (Podkarpackie
Region), there is empty containers storage area available and depo
contracted with all main shipping lines.
PCC Intermodal SA, in addition to transport, offers basic container
services and empty boxes positioning among its network.

PCC Intermodal is licensed polish rail provider, it manages fleet of over
700 rail cars. At two of its terminals there are wagon halls facilitated
to repair and maintain the rail-fleet.
At PCC Intermodal terminals there are always technical teams ready
to secure all the daily technical services, ensuring the network smooth
operations, monitoring: wagons, locomotivs, containers and handling
machines’ conditions.
PCC Intermodal SA is aproved by the Central Office of Rail Transport
in Poland and certificated with VTG.
TECHNICAL BACK UP
PCC Intermodal SA as from the first day of its active intermodal operations served Chemical Industry,
organising the logistics with the highest care for the enviroment and road seafety. The first PCC container
flow was ordered in 2005 by chemical plant in Brzeg Dolny (Rokita). Nowadays PCC Intermodal with its
know-how, modern facilities and ADR/RID advisors, ensure regular supply solutions not only to/from
Poland but global-wise in ralation with: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Russia. We are regularly
aproved by SQAS assesing reports. We make sure the logistics we supply is safe, reliable and according
to international transport rules.
The company is certificated by AEO, ensures clients full customs support by it’s own Customs Agents.
PCCI central hub (Kutno Terminal) is, at its full length, aproved by Customs Authorities as a Temporary
Storage Warehouse.
