SURPRISE GOES ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPT

Eagle Radio, Surrey and Hampshire’s most listened-to commercial radio station, made it a birthday to remember for two listeners today. Bibi and Freya were in the station with their friends to mark their 13th birthdays when they were paid a surprise visit by Danny O’Donoghue. The lead singer of The Script, and former judge on The Voice, had been visiting Eagle for an interview and agreed to lead the singing of Happy Birthday. It was all a huge surprise for Script fans Bibi, Freya and their friends, who were at the station to take part in one of our Radio Rockz courses; where aspiring radio presenters and producers can have a go at making a radio show. Paul Marcus, Eagle Radio Managing Director, said: “As soon as we found out Bibi and Freya were fans of Danny’s we asked him if he would like to surprise them on their birthday. “He was only too willing and really helped to make their special day that little bit more special. “Bibi and Freya were already having a great day on one of our Radio Rockz courses, but you could see from the look on their faces that Danny’s visit was the icing on the cake.” ENDS
