UT ARLINGTON GRATEFUL FOR ALUMNI

Arlington, Nov. 8—UT Arlington

The University of Texas at Arlington appreciates the generosity of our alumni such as John T. Miller

CEO of Miller Associates, who recently gave $3 million to the school. Contributions like these enable the

university to provide a strong and competitive educational experience.

UT Arlington has been classified as a high research activity university by the Carnegie foundation.

The university also has many programs to support academic excellence, such as the honors college for those

who graduate within the top 10 percent of their high school, and maintaining an overall GPA of 3.35. The

university also has the McNair scholars program, which is designed to prepare students for graduate study

cumulating in their doctoral degree.

“We are proud of the quality students enrolled at UT-Arlington,” said Dr. Diana Holcombe, vice

president for enrollment. “Our records show that our students compete well with the top schools across the

nation in research and academics.”
