Conditions of Play 1. Rules

The rules of golf adopted by the Royal and Ancient Club and the local rules of the Bribie Island Golf Club

Limited will be the rules of play during the event.

2. Handicaps Limits

a. 18 Hole Competition: All players use Golf Australia Handicaps and must provide proof of their handicap.

b. 9 Hole Competition: Handicaps supplied must be verified by the Home Club junior committee or

GMZJGA;

c. 6 Hole Competition: Handicaps supplied must be verified by the players Home Club Junior Committee

or GMZJGA;

3. Play

a. Play is to be in groups of four for 18 hole competition and groups of three for 6 and 9 hole competitions,

where possible;

b. Players must report to the starter 10 minutes prior to hit off time;

c. Competitors not ready to start will automatically be inserted where there is a vacancy or placed at the

end of the field where possible;

4. Ties

a. In the event of a tie for either 18 hole Junior Gross events, a sudden death playoff will commence from

the 18th hole and repeat the 18th hole until a winner is determined.

b. All other events will be decided by count back.

Disputes and protests

a. Disputes and protests are to be in writing to the Junior Match Committee not later than 15 minutes after

the finish of the round; and

b. Suspensions of play will be signified by continuous short blasts of an electric hooter. Players should mark

the place where their ball lies and await further instructions.

Control

The Junior Match Committee is in charge of the event.
