PATTERN NOTES

• Work in spiral. Do not join rounds unless it is written to do otherwise.

• The length of the finished toy is about 14cm (5.5 inches).

MATERIALS

Yarn

Hook

Needle

Stuffing

YarnArt Jeans grey (49) and blue (15) 10x10cm (4''x4'') = 24R/20SC

1,75mm (the hook recommended for this yarn is 3,5mm but I use a smaller one for thicker

stitches)

polyfill

ABBREVIATIONS (US)

sc - single crochet in next stitch

inc - increase (two sc in one stitch)

dec - decrease (two stitches made together into one sc). Use invisible decrease (crochet through front loops only)

ch - chain stitch

sc tbl - sc through back loop only

inc tbl - inc through back loops only

sl - slip stitch

The number after the abbreviation means how many times the stitch should be done (for instance sc 4 = sc,sc, sc, sc). The lack of the number means that the stitch should be done once.

Sequences in brackets should be done as many times as the number after the asterisk says - for instance(inc, sc 2)*4 = inc, sc2, inc, sc2, inc, sc2, inc, sc2.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the ears to the head and embroider the faceusing the photos as the reference.

Stuff the head, the front paws and the body.

BACK PAWS

Flatten the body so that the front paws are spread symmetrically on both sides of the body.

Draw the yarn through the center of the edges and tie a knot as shown in the photos to create two separateholes for legs. Each hole should have 14 free stitches.

Crochet a round of single stitches along one of the holes to obtain 16 stitches in total (14 for on the freestitches and 2 on both tied ones). Continuing in spiral crochet another 6 rounds of single stitches. Sl andfasten off. Make the other leg the same way.

Stuff firmly the body and the legs.

Sew the soles to the legs using the long thread from thesoles. Sew through the back loops of the soles and the frontloops of the legs. Fasten off pulling thread to WS.
