Manuel Collas de La Roche recently co-produced «KaLaChaKra» (The Enlightenment), a feature documentary produced and directed by Natalie Fuchs with the exceptional participation of H.H. The Dalai Lama and Uma Thurman as the narrator. On March 23, 2018, Manuel Collas de La Roche was awarded the Gold Medal of the«Universal League of Public Good» for his service to Humanity at the headquarters of the Republican Guard in Paris.

In the age of technology, the multiplication of social networks and the apogee of the virtual, which makes us lose sight of the true meaning of life, it is essential to refocus on our values and to make them live through our actions.

Humanists must incarnate their values and inspire our actions to regain that balance and the harmony that is increasingly maltreated on this planet.

I created the Better World Forum because I am firmly convinced that humanity must be reborn on a new basis, to allow the enlightenment of every human being to flourish and to illuminate our world that so badly needs it.

I am convinced that cinema has the power to put forward this aspiration to a more fraternal, more compassionate world.

Beyond all political, religious or cultural differences, we highlight the women’s Empowerment, children, people with determination and refugees. More than ever, we must protect our Mother Earth, the climate, the environment and biodiversity.

We need to unite, get out of the silence, build bridges and create synergies, not to revolt but to restore a proper balance, to guide and inspire future generations to engage for a Better World... so that peace gains the spirits, the hearts, and ultimately guides the world.

CINEMATIC ART AT THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY

On the 21st and 22nd of September, the 3rd edition of the Monaco Better World Forum took place under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

«The Colombes d’or» (golden doves) made from the “most precious metal in the world”, Humanium Metal by IM, were awarded to various personalities as well as to the winners of the films and documentaries in competition. An auction was also held for humanitarian projects sup- ported by the MBWF including the NGO “Embracing the World” represented by Amma “The Hugging Saint”, as well as the NGO “Gift of Life Lebanon” represented by its founder and president Lina Shehayeb.
