Ministry Focus

Chiara is studying dietetics at SUNY Oneonta. She loves people, Jesus, food, fitness,

and all things outdoors (especially rock climbing). During the summer, Chiara gets to

lead 11-day backcountry canoeing trips with soon to be high school freshman (which

is a blast). Her dream, Lord willing, is to find or develop a program that combines

outdoor education and back-country expeditions with a focus on food, fitness, and

most importantly, Jesus!!!

Faith Story While Chiara grew up in a Christian home, her faith didn’t become completely whole

and real until she was part of Campus Ambassadors for a couple of semesters. The

discipleship, fellowship, and accountability have really helped her to conquer some

ginormous demons in her life, grow closer to Christ in a way she never knew was

possible, and strive to live out every aspect of her life in a way that honors God and

portrays His character and love to the world. Likewise, Chiara’s absolutely honored

and thrilled to have been appointed as an intern for Campus Ambassadors at SUNY

Oneonta. Being a part of CA has had an incredible impact on her life and she’s

excited to continue to learn and grow as she begins the transition from student to

staff. It’s been awesome watching God work these past few years, and she’s stoked to

continue to see the fruit that results from the light we create on a dark campus.

Family & Education Chiara has been super blessed to have grown up in an awesome, spunky, God-

seeking family and is continually blessed by their unconditional love and support. Her

parents, Vic and Helena, and younger sister, Alessia, live not so far away (lucky for

her!) in Jefferson, NY and her older sister, Erin, is studying physical therapy at Upstate

Medical in Syracuse.
