Strumento PMI e topic DRS-17-2014/2015 [H2020-SMEINST-1-2015]
Challenge: coinvolgere le piccole e medie imprese nelle attività di ricerca e sviluppo, riducendo il più
possibile le barriere d’ingresso per le PMI ai finanziamenti di Horizon, accelerare il time to market.
Le azioni possono riguardare qualsiasi aspetto descritto nel Work Programme Security. Tuttavia,
le azioni che riguardano la Protezione degli urban soft target e delle infrastrutture critiche urbane
sono incoraggiate.
Tipo di azione: Strumento PMI (70%).
È possibile partecipare con una sola PMI, ma la collaborazione è incoraggiata.
General Impact:
• migliorare la redditività e le performance delle PMI combinando e trasferendo conoscenze
nuove ed esistenti per farle diventare soluzioni innovative e competitive, in grado di cogliere le
opportunità di business a livello Europeo e mondiale;
• diffondere sul mercato innovazioni in grado di affrontare le sfide specifiche sul tema spazio in
modo sostenibile;
• aumentare gli investimenti privati in innovazione.
L’impatto atteso deve essere chiaramente descritto in termini quantitativi e qualitativi (e.g.
gestione della proprietà intellettuale, dimensioni del mercato, vendite, ritorno sugli investimenti, etc.)

Specific Impact
• Elevata capacità di screening delle persone e delle loro borse, screening real-time negli ingressi
agli edifici o nell’immissione nei sistemi di trasporto pubblico
• Screening ad alto rendimento per i veicoli per i quali viene individuata una eventuale minaccia e
che devono essere sottoposti ad ulteriori controlli (no controlli a campione)
• Mitigazione di ordigni esplosivi improvvisati con un focus specifico sugli ordigni legati ai veicoli (ad
esempio in caso di veicoli parcheggiati

• Più efficacia di trattamenti, rilevazione e tecnologie di monitoraggio di esposizione/contaminazione con
sostanze CBRN (comprese le tossine) in caso di incidenti o attacchi terroristici;
• Nuovo sistema integrato, interoperabile e centralizzato per migliorare il triage e il monitoraggio delle
vittime, riduzione dei rischi di contaminazione le vittime contaminate e non
• Miglioramento capacità di rilevamento e di monitoraggio CBRN (comprese le tossine) ;
• Migliore gestione delle crisi in caso di contaminazione/esposizione di massa attraverso l'integrazione di
informazioni tramite un sistema centralizzato
• Miglioramento della cooperazione tra scienza e società attraverso lo screening etico delle soluzioni
sviluppate;
