•Also referred to as Autumn, leaves change color and begin to fall. The weather becomes colder.

Thanksgiving is on the last Thursday of every November. Gobble-gobble!

Winter

Winter lasts from the beginning of December through the end of February.

Winter is marked by the bitter wind and snow. Ice and hail also accompany the beginning of this chilly season.

Christmas is celebrated on December 25th throughout America.

New Year’s is the celebration of the new year. This takes place on January 1st.

Valentine’s Day takes place on February 14th and gives people the chance to show their love to each other.

Easter takes place on the first Sunday after the first full moon. Many children look forward to this holiday for the Easter egg hunt!

Summer marks the return of warm weather. This time of the year is sunny and there’s no school!
