Television:

BBC:The BBC News 24 channel, British Broadcasting Corporation is the public-service broadcaster of the United Kingdom, headquartered at Broadcasting House in London. Which was found by John Reith on 18th October 1922, it serves worldwide. BBC studio on London.

In 1992 BBC knowledge was launched as a multimedia channel, with services available on the newly launched BBC Text digital teletext service, and on BBC Online; on the other hand in 2002 the name got renamed to BBC four and became BBC arts ad documents channel. BBC News 24 became the BBC News Channel in 2008, and BBC Radio 7 became BBC Radio 4 Extra in 2011. BBC has experimented in high-definition television. In 2006, BBC HD aunched as an experimental service, and became official in December 2007. The channel broadcasts HD simulcasts of programmers on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three and BBC Four as well as repeats of some older programmers in HD. In 2010, a HD simulcast of BBC One launched: BBC One HD. The new channel uses HD versions of BBC One's schedule and uses up scaled versions of programmers. The BBC's on-demand TV service called BBC IPlayer, was launched on the 27 July 2007, BBC iPlayer is a free catch-up service for UK licence fee payers; your favourite programmes from all the BBC's network TV channels will be available to download over the internet, and watch on your PC or smartphone without advertising for up to a week after transmission.

Hollywood:

Hollywood is a district of Los Angeles, California, south of the Hollywood Hills, part of the eastern Santa Monica Mountains. It has long been considered the centre of the US movie industry. Hollywood was established in 1853, with a single adobe hut on land outside Los Angeles, California. In 1911 the first studio was established in Hollywood. In the 1920 Hollywood was making 80% of the world’s films. There are six major studios: DisneyOne of the most successful films Disney has made is frozen; it made a worldwide Gross profit of $1,279,852,693 UniversalUniversals most popular film is Jurassic World, its Gross Profit was $651,125,061 Warner BrothersThe Warner Brothers most successful film was The Dark Knight, this films Gross profit was $533,345,358 21st Century FoxAvatar was a worldwide box-office for 21st Century Fox, the gross profit for this movie was $749,766,139 ParamountParamount has had many successful films but the most successful one is Titanic hat came out in 1997 it made a gross profit of $600,788,188 There are also mini-majors" smaller studios trying to move up to the major ranks an example is DreamWorks.There are many types of producers in Hollywood but here are two of them:

Executive producer:The Executive Producer addresses the finances in that they pitch films to the studios, but upon acceptance they may focus on business matters, such as budgets and contracts

Co-executive producer:Second in seniority to executive producer.

What is the is difference:An Executive Producer supervises, either on his own authority or subject to the authority of an employer one or more producers in the performance of all of his/her/their producer functions on single or multiple productions. In television, an Executive Producer may also be the Creator of a series. On the other hand a co-executive producer is two or more functioning producers who perform jointly or cumulatively all of the producer functions as a team or group.

Radio

INFORMATION:

Guglielmo Marconi Marconi sent the first ever radio transmission in 1896.The radio is the first devise to allow mass communication. It has enabled information to be transferred far and wide, not only this but it is internationally as well. The development of radio began in 1893 with Nikolai Tesla’s demonstration of wireless radio communication.Early uses were for ships to maintain contact

between each other on sea, however further down the line after the wars ended, with growth of radio receivers, broadcasting began in Europe and The United States. Europe’s most famous broadcasting station, the British Broadcasting Company or BBC.  What the Radio was used for back in the days:

Soldiers to communicate News on specific topics including space, physics,

planet earth and NASA. Able to communicate with to senior authority figures

in USA. 

In recent years, radio has made even more developments that have made listening to your favorite music even easier. With a simple internet connection, you can listen to streaming audio from almost any radio station all over the world. A new trend in radio broadcasting is also the podcast. This is where individuals put together a recording that resembles a radio show and then post it online for anybody to listen to. Furthermore Amazon.com put together the first legal music download in 1999. Which mean downloading music to phones or other electronic devices, this means you don’t need to stream for music cause it has been downloaded. Prior to that, several sites, Napster being one of the most popular, offered users the opportunity to share files. Music knower days it is often shared illegally on these sites.  What the Radio is used for knower days: Entertainment ( Dramas and music) Check the weather News(what’s happening over the world)

Games

What is gaming?Gaming refers to playing electronic games, whether through consoles, computers, mobile phones or another medium altogether. A person who is into gaming is often called a gamer or hard-core gamer. The video game industry (sometimes referred to as the interactive entertainment industry) is the economic sector involved with the development, marketing and sales of video games. In 1971 the computer space was released. The following year, Atari, Inc. released the first commercially successful video game, pong.This is what the Pong machine,

pong is one of the earliest arcade video game sand the very first sports arcade video game. It is a tennis sports game featuring simple two-dimensional graphics. While other arcade video games such as Computer space came before it, Pong was one of the first video games to reach mainstream popularity.

Nintendo Entertainment System: The Nintendo Entertainment System, released in 1985, helped to revive the American gaming industry after the video game crash of 1983. The most successful game of this era was namco's Pac man, released in 1980, which would go on to sell over 350,000 cabinets and within a year, it was generated a revenue of more than $1 billion in quarters; in total, Pac-Man is estimated to have grossed over 10 billion quarters during the 20th century, equivalent to over $3.4 billion in 2011. The 1990s saw advancements in game related technology, an example would be PlayStation.

The PlayStation (officially abbreviated as PS, and commonly known as PS1) is a home video game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment . The console was released in Japan on December 3, 1994.Furthermore on the 11th of November 2006 the ps3 was launched
