I would sell my Product in local newsagents because there are less range of other magazines then big shops like Asda, its easy access for the target audience of 14-25 and they are more likely to shop there. I would also sell them in the larger stores such as Asda etc, because it is more likely to be seen by a lot of people target audience and others, and therefore is more likely to sell. It would be produced by IPC media because it has a large range of magazines and would sell mine well as there are not many like it and it gives it a new opportunity for a fresh look and for people to compare it to others and see mine may be worth buying instead.

My genre for my magazine is rock/R&B and the target audience age is from 14-25. My magazine represents the genre by using the right colour schemes like red and black are quite bold and rock chic, also using a model that is unique and is wearing black leather and dark makeup brings out the rock look. The social group 14-25 is attracted by the look of the magazine and the title represents rock/R&B and the cover lines all pull the audience in and attract them and that helps sales.

EVALUATIONThe software I used to produce my Magazine were:

PhotoshopQuarkXpressPrezi.comBlogger.comMicrosoft PowerpointMicrosoft Word

I found these programmes quite easy, some easier than others. Using these new programmes gave me a better understanding of how to use them to produce a detailed professional Magazine and all the build up work that comes with it. I found Photoshop the easiest to produce my Magazine cover as QuarkXPress was quite difficult but fine once I had the hang of it. Blogger was okay but sometimes it would give me problems uploading to information to it if it was on audio files etc. Prezi was quite difficult and gave me a lot of problems with crashing and not uploading the pictures I wanted it to. Microsoft is familiar to me therefore i found that easy and got that done with no problems. Although i was familiar with most of these programmes i have used them more in dept and have learnt a lot more than i new. I have also learnt that anyone given the right software above could produce a professional looking magazine, although money is a problem as these are very expensive software.

EVALUATIONMy preliminary task compared to my Magazine product now is very different as I have more knowledge on how to use the software and I made it look more professional and detailed. I also had longer to do this therefore it looks better and is a better standard of work.

The obvious difference between these two pieces of work is that my preliminary task is very dull and has no structure to it. It also has no effects or a variety of different fonts.

The pictures are also more professional in my second magazine and are more structured.
