Initial ideasInitial ideas

• For my initial ideas I drew I collection of designs of which will be the foreground for my final music magazine through the research which I carried out at the start of this task. The initial ideas have given me a good insight to the final structure of it and have proven useful as feedback material

Conventions Conventions Portrayed Portrayed

My conventions have been portrayed by the music magazine that I research, one which Mixmag has been the style model for my magazine as it fits my genre style and has provided an insight into what conventions are portrayed in a magazine.

Examples Examples

Large preliminary images that are the focus of the magazine

Large name that takes up the top third of the magazine and the colour changes depending upon the subject matter

The subject matter influence the colour scheme of the magazine and is constant for the whole front cover

A small amount of advertising text which summaries some aspects of the magazine.
