DEFINICIÓN DE UN TABLERO DE TRANSFERENCIA
• Un dispositivo diseñado para conectar la carga crítica a una fuente de energía alterna cuando la fuente de energía normal no es aceptable, y automáticamente transfiere cuando la energía principal retorna.
• UL1008: “1.4 A transfer switch is a device that automatically transfers a common load from a normal supply to an alternate supply in the event of failure of the normal supply, and automatically returns the load to the normal supply when the normal supply is restored.”

• Mantener la conexión de corriente de forma contínua a la carga
• Detectar fallos de red
• Transferir carga a una fuente alternativa

TIPOS BÁSICOS DE TABLEROS DE TRANSFERENCIA
• Automáticos: operan automáticamente en caso de pérdida de la fuente principal o bajada crítica de la tensión.
• No Automáticos: el accionamiento debe ser operado manualmente y el actuador puede ser eléctrico o mecánico. Aplicación para grupos electrógenos de arranque manual o que
precisen intervención del personal de supervisión en la transferencia.

TIPOS BÁSICOS DE TABLEROS DE TRANSFERENCIA
• Transición Abierta: operan mediante una rápida conmutación produciendo un mínimo tiempo de corte de energía.
• Transición Cerrada: operan mediante un paralelaje de fuentes de alimentación permitiendo una conmutación sin corte de energía.
