Due to the World Youth Chess Championship, the Uruguayan Chess Federation extends a warm invitation, to every Federation wishing to participate, to be part of this event and share their ideas on their current Educational Chess Projects.

We welcome your proposals in regards to :

- Institutional Projects

- Didactic Schemes and Innovations

Uruguay Presentation

The host country will exhibit their “Chess for Coexistence” program, in accordance with the Ministry of Culture and Education.

Our lecture: “Educational chess in Uruguay: past, present and future prospects.”

Didactic Workshops: didactic innovations in education, from Uruguay to the rest of the world.

Institutional Projects

All interested federations are encouraged to exhibit their own proposals for their respective Institutional Projects.

This area shall have as its purpose:

-To know the reality and degree of institutionalization of the diverse chess-based educative projects from around the world.

-To exchange ideas about the diverse ways of implementation in each country.

Didactic Innovations All interested federations are encouraged to exhibit their own proposals for their specific didactical methods.

The objective shall be:

- To provide better understanding of the pedagogical approaches, on each academic strategy and their didactic implementations.

- Exchange innovative much-valued ideas and experiences with an aim towards the improvement of training methods worldwide.

-An abstract of no more than 500 words, explaining the theme of the presentation.
