Throughout history many people have

had different and interesting views of

how the world was created. Next term

we will be learning about what each of

the major world religions believed

Your challenge is to research Greek,

Viking or Aztec views on creation and

present your findings however you’d

like (as a poster, storyboard or even a

powerpoint). Perhaps over the holidays you’d like to visit the

Birmingham Museum in Chamberlain Square (central Birmingham)

to see what you can find out. Or you could visit the Handsworth

library to grab a few useful books.

Next term we will be creating silk paintings based on rangoli

patterns. This holiday, research rangoli designs and draw a pattern

which you might like to use on the first day back when you are

completing your silk painting.
