TheRotaryClubofEastNassau&TheScoutAssociationofTheBahamasareproudtoannouncethattheir27thAnnual
CharityGolfTournamentwillbeheldonMondayApril29th,2013.Thiseventhasbeenoneoftheclub’sprimaryfundraisingactivitiesforthepast26years,raisingmorethan$125,000eachyearfromentryfeesandsponsorshipstoaidTheScoutAssociationofTheBahamasandthemanyworthwhilecharitiessupportedbytheRotaryClubofEast
Nassau.
WeareproudtonotethatallproceedsraisedwillbeappliedtowardsTheScoutAssociationofTheBahamasandotherRotarysponsoredcommunityserviceorganizations.Recentrecipientshaveincluded:
• ProjectRead–TeachingadultshowtoreadandbecomemoreproductivemembersofBahamiansociety.Oneofourgraduatesnowhasherownbusinessandemploysfourotherpeople.
• TheBahamasDiabeticAssociation• TheBahamasAssociationforSocialHealth(BASH)• TheBahamasAssociationforthePhysicallyDisabled(BAPD)
• ThelmaGibsonPrimarySchool
