All verbs other than be add does not before the verb when the subject is singular, with he, she, and it.

Note: do not can be changed to dont.

Singular Subjects, He, She, & It NegativesThe child does not eat breakfast every day.He usually does not exercise in the afternoon.She does not wake up early.It often does not rain in December.

Note: does not can be changed to doesnt.

Important NoteNote that the second or main verb stays in the base form. It does not change, even when the subject is singular:

He doesnt speak French. NOTHe doesnt speaks French.
