Preparing For Medical Entrance Exams - NEET 2013 Medical entrance exams are like a hard nut to crack which takes place every year. Every year lakhs of students test their luck to fulfill their dreams of becoming a successful doctor in the future. NEET is the entrance exams conducted for selection in Medical colleges. It is one of the toughest medical undergraduate exams in our country. The questions are chosen from the syllabus of 11th and 12th standard physics, chemistry and biology subjects. There is negative marking for each wrong answer with a few exceptions. The course content is quite vast and ample amount of time is required to gain mastery over these subjects. NEET Examination Pattern: NEET Examination is an objective one and the duration of examination will be 3 hr 30 minutes. The exam consists of a total of 200 questions divided in to 4 sections as follows: Physics - 60 questions Chemistry - 60 questions Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions General Knowledge - 20 questions Students should practice and solve problems everyday for best results. Mock tests are the best way to ensure that concepts are clear and thoroughly understood. One of the most followed methods to success is to work according to a systematic study plan.
