Automated Repurchase Agreement Sweep

• A repurchase agreement is the sale of securities with an agreement

for the seller to buy back the securities at a later date. The Repo

Price should be greater than the original price. The difference is the

Interest or Repo Rate.

• The update will automatically build IF3 files for repo & accrual

transactions.

• When the base account reaches it’s max balance, the DDA update

sweeps(debits) the excess amount and posts to the repo

agreement (Sweep To Account). Then the update accrues interest

for the Repo at a rate defined by the Deposit Rate Index.

• The update determines the sweep amount and accrued interest for

that update. DDA7003 generates an IF3 file to post back to the

base account.
