Preliminary TaskResearch and Planning

Location:We decided to use the middle staircase as one of ourlocations as it well lit will make it easier to film Warrenwalking up the stairs from all angles reducing chance ofcontinuity editing errors.

The maths corridor was our second location that wedecided to use because it is the closest corridor to themiddle staircase, it is also the most quietest and leastbusiest corridor which make filming a lot easier.

Narrative:For the narrative of ourpreliminary filming task,we have decided to showWarren (main character)walking up the stairs onthe way to meet his friendPaulo who is waiting forhim as he owes him somemoney.

Costumes:Warren (protagonist) will be dressed in casual jeans,blue top and trainers, this will be a goodrepresentation of him as it shows off his own style.

However Paulo (antagonist) will be wearing a hoodie,baggy jeans and trainers. Being dressed like this willmake him look more rough as we want to create thelook of a typical teenager.

Equipment: Camera – to record footage Tripod – to ensure that thecamera has something to siton in order to avoid shakiness Dolly – will be needed to dotracking shots

Paulo: *smacks fist down* Put yourhand down man. Where's my money?!

Warren: Erm.. I've.. I’ve only got halfof it

Paulo: Whatever man, give it

Warren: *hands over coin*

Over the shoulder shot: will beused to show conversation fromview points of characters

Close up: will be used whenprotagonist hands over money
