WORKS FOR  2016‐ 2018 FINANCIAL PERIODS 

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation  is a Non‐governmental Organization (NGO)  incorporated  in 

Mozambique under authorization of the Minister of External Affairs dated  12 June 2015, and having its 

registered office at number 417, Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, Maputo. The Foundation is funded by United 

States of America Agency for International Development [USAID] and US Centres for Disease Control and 

Prevention [CDC]. 

The  Foundation  in  collaboration with Mozambique Ministry of Health  (MOH)  is  implementing  critical 

programmatic,  research,  and  advocacy  initiatives  aimed  at  eliminating HIV  infections  in  children  and 

supporting HIV‐positive children, mothers, and families.  

Further,  the  Foundation  partners  directly  with  individual  districts  and  faith‐based  organizations  to 

increase  access  to  comprehensive,  high‐quality, well‐integrated HIV  prevention,  care,  and  treatment 

services across Mozambique. 

In this regard, EGPAF now invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers, manufacturers for the following  pre‐

1. The prospective suppliers may submit proposal for one or more Lots.  

2. Interested eligible bidders or suppliers must confirm their  intention to bid  indicating all relevant

 3. Bidders will be responsible for following up to ensure that EGPAF has received the notification.  

 4. Tender documents should be send in Portuguese language.

6. Bidders will be responsible for confirming receipt of bid documents. EGPAF will not be held responsible for any costs related to preparation of bid documents. 

7. Documents will be ready for collection as from the 19/09/2016, between 07:30 and 16:00 hours  at our Reception Desk. 

8. Applications for pre‐qualification should be submitted in one original copy in sealed envelope(s), hand‐delivered or post to the address provided below at the Reception Desk of the ground floor and deposited in the Tender Box by the reception. Bidders must fill in their details in the Tender Register Book at the reception before deposting their Bid. Deadline for submission shall be 11AM  EAT on Thursday 14th October, 2016. Tender envelopes must be clearly marked the description and  respective  lot  number  (s)  applied,  “Application  for  Supplier  Pre‐qualification  [Insert  Lot number]  for  supply/provision of  [Description] not  to be opened before 11AM on   Tuesday 18th October, 2016.
