3. Installation requirements
IT and maintenance guys should be on site during installation. At least at the beginning to see that all is in line with PlaySIght’s requirements.
Courts should be free and not scheduled for club usage the whole
Installation period. Lift or modular platform on site.
4. Network requirements
Bandwidth and internet connection 5 mbps upload minimum
30 mbps download minimum
Network: For wireless networks:
A minimum of 54Mb/s stable MiMo (Multiple In – Multiple Out) "N" type wireless router
Maximum distance of router form the SmartCourt kiosk 100m (330ft) with no obstructions
For wired networks:
CAT5 network cable
Maximum cable length from the switch/router 100m Important note: All system components (SmartCourt kiosks, debriefing stations, Lobby applications) must be on the same network.
Static IP
An internal static IP for each kiosk, debriefing, lobby station. An internal static IP for each overview camera (minimum 2 per court) in case of streaming with
scoreboard installation configuration. +Default getaway
+DNS For live streaming of courts – one external static IP address for each streaming computer (one
streaming computer for every 3 live steaming courts).
Important note: All static IP's, gateway and DNS must be sent to PlaySight prior to Shipment of systems.
5. running cables
All CAT 6A cables should run from the brackets to where the kiosk is set up (6 cables for 6 cameras).
Internet cable should run from club's internet port to the kiosks Important note - not longer than 100 meters.
Must leave spear cable (about 1.5 meter) on both sides of the cable plugin's (cable
to camera, cable to kiosk).
6. Camera placement
A. 4 Corner cameras: come inside housing, this cameras are the analytical cameras in charge of the video analysis. They are placed on brackets that are installed at the corner of the court by the club.
Bracket placement rules:
Preferred on the same height but can be placed on different heights as long as they follow 3 rules.
1. Depth from baseline: 5-7.5 meters
2. Height from the ground: 4-5 meters 3. Distance from doubles line: 0-4
All corner cameras (analytical cameras) should follow this figures.

B. Overview cameras

Is installed directly to the wall with 3 screws that are drilled to the wall.
Overview rules:
Must be positioned with the smallest height difference as possible between the 2 cameras.
Dead Center of the court is the best view Height from the ground: 3.5 – 7 meters
