(III) Need for the Project & Its Importance to the Country/ Region

The mineral Cheja Pathar (Masonary Stone) is used in various construction

activities and will be sold to nearby areas to fulfill the requirements of the local

region.

(IV) Demand – Supply Gap

Considering the demand of mineral sufficient availability of the mineral in the

area, it is essential to have Cheja Pathar (Masonary Stone) mine to sustain the

supply of mineral for construction purpose.

(v) Imports vs. Indigenous Production

It is a cheap mineral used in construction activities in rural therefore export is

not possible

(vi) Export Possibility

There is no export possibility as these mineral is quite cheap and locally

available in abundance and used in rural areas.

(vii) Domestic/Export Markets

These minerals have only domestic market and will fulfill the requirement of

local.

(viii) Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the Project

Approx 32 manpower will be needed to run the mine.

4.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

(i) Type of Project Including Interlinked And Independent Projects, If Any

6. Conceptual Plan

The conceptual mining plan for 5 years considering proposed capacity of

mine for the mineral has been prepared by considering the probable

category of reserve excluding reserves falling in safety zone.

Area about 0.8518 ha. will be used in mining up to the end of life of

the mine up to 25.0 m. depth. & area about 0.1482 ha. will be used

in plantation on periphery of lease boundary.

At the conceptual stage of mining, the excavated area about 0.8518

ha. out of which area about 0.0204 ha will be backfilled &

reclaimed by Plantation and rest area about 0.8314 ha will be

converted in to water reservoir.
