PRDS Newsletter I FEEL PEOPLE SHOW.. At our two last staff meetings we’ve used the PRIDE values to launch group conversations about the meaning and importance of professionals, respect, and in integrity. Here are some of the thoughts that come from these meetings: -Share resources and ideas -Utilize your own skills to voluntary assist others -Listen to hear, not to respond -Show awareness of my rights/wishes -Do the right thing, even when no one is watching -Being honest, even when you make a mistake November 12, 2017 VOLUME 1 | ISSUE 1 PRDS Department Town Halls and Retreats: Town Halls – There will be two town halls between the bi-annual departmental retreats. Town halls will be at lunchtime. Faculty and staff can suggest the discussion topics, please feel free to email the Chair, Dr. Elsbeth Kalenderian. The schedule is listed below: 2018 Schedule: Wednesday, January 17th Thursday, January 18th Friday, January 19th Monday, January 22 Tuesday, January 23 Monday, May 14th Wednesday, May 16th Thursday, May 17th Friday, May 18th Tuesday, May 22th Monday, July 9th Retreats There will be two retreats per year, one in September and one in March, during the scheduled breaks. Retreats will be “hand- on” with a focus on department strategic goals. 2018 Schedule. Tuesday, March 27 th Monday, September 17 th Location: Millberry Union, 8am-3pm Please RSVP w/Sue Fox

Early HBS Close for the November 18, 2017 Pay Period

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the November 18, 2017 pay period will close early in HBS. The HBS system will be closed for all users (employees, managers, and Human Resources) at midnight, Monday November 20. Please review your HBS data as soon as possible but no later than November 21, 2017. If you have questions about HBS, contact your timecard approver. .
