Safe Environment Training Thursday, November 29., at 7:00 pm., in Classroom 1- lower level, class by the kitchen. If you have signed up to volunteer in any OLOL ministry or are planning to soon, this training is required prior to volunteering.

If you are already an ac ve volunteer and took the founda onal class some me ago, this is a good refresher and can be used as your annual update training. The training takes about an hour. Please contact Mike Humphrey 972-961-9371 or mhumphrey@ourladyrockwall.org for more info.

OLOL Angel Tree / El Árbol de Ángel

Each year, Our Lady of the Lake and the Catholic Mothers' Community sponsors an angel tree to provide members of our community who are less fortunate with Christmas gi s for their family. Please consider providing a gi to aid a family in need. Any amount of support is greatly appreciated!

Angel tags can be selected from the tree in the back of church before and a er all masses this weekend, November 17th/18th & following weekend, November 24th/25th. Angel

tree gi s can be returned to the totes under the tree and are due no later than Dec. 9th.

El Árbol de Ángel

Cada año, Our Lady of the Lake y la Comunidad de Madres Católicas patrocinan un árbol de ángel para proporcionar a los miembros de nuestra comunidad que son menos afortunados con regalos de Navidad para sus familias. There will be a second collection next weekend, November 24th and 25th, to benefit the works of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Our Lady of the Lake. Please give generously knowing that your gift is a sign of God’s love to those who are suffering and in pain.

Each second year Confirma on student and a parent or sponsor must a end one of the two Confirma on Workshops. This is an hour and a half ac vity which will promote a conversa on between the student and adult as they journey closer to the Sacrament of Confirma on. This is a required ac vity. Any student not par cipa ng in one of these two workshops will not be permi ed to receive the Sacrament of Confirma on.

Advent Devotion and Adoration December 4th 2018 Get Ready for Advent – A end the OLOL Advent Devo on and Adora on. Adults of the parish are called to an evening of devo on, adora on of the Eucharist and reflec on as the Advent season begins. Come to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel on Tuesday the 4th of December evening from 7 to 8PM. Hear the Word, learn the Catholic Tradi ons and prepare the way for Jesus’ birthday this year. Give the kids a night away from their parents to enjoy pizza, movies, cra s, games, story me, and more! This first- me event at Our Lady of the Lake is a fundraiser hosted by the Family Service Organiza on. Please consider suppor ng the Service Organiza on and bringing your children to the parish to spend me with their friends; and make new friends! Registra on required! All funds raised will go towards future service events.

Adult and youth volunteers needed to help make this event a success. The number of children that a end will depend on our volunteer numbers, so please consider serving for this event!
