Our June Mission Focus will be on the Open
Door Outreach Center Open Door's largest fundraiser of the year – The Julie Run To End Hunger – had to be can-
celed. However, both the number of clients and the need for food have in-creased dramatically. As we begin to reopen the church, please remem-ber to bring in food and hygiene items. The following was taken from their website: “We are in a crisis situation and it’s a time for caring and up-lifting each other. As a community, each of us has the opportunity now to make an impact and a difference in struggling people’s lives.”
You can make a difference now. These are the times where a communi-ty shows who it is.
Let's show Open Door who Bethany is! Beyond food items, I challenge the people of Bethany to step up to the plate and help us hit a home run for Open Door by making as generous of a dollar donation as is possible. You can send your donation to church – be sure to mark “Open Door” on your check or use the pew envelopes, again being sure to mark your contribution as “Open Door.
