To help you prayHere are some tips for using the Prayer Journal to pray for the DOVE family, including leadership teams, partner churches, fivefold ministers and missionaries.

You can pray through the Prayer Journal from page one to the end, praying over a few churches or ministries each week. Read their praise reports and rejoice with them! Then read the prayer requests and agree for needs to be met and for the power of God to be released in their churches and ministries.

There is a listing of DOVE Apostolic leaders and other leaders near the back of the Journal. You can pray over these leaders each week.

General guidelines for prayer

1. pray for a cleansing of your heart “Create in me a clean heart, O God” (Psalm 51).

2. pray that we would grow in personal intimacy with Jesus (John 17:3).

3. pray for souls to be saved and for laborers for the harvest (1 Peter 3:9, Matthew 9:37-38).

4. pray for spiritual mothers and fathers to be released (1 Corinthians 4:15-17, Matthew 28:19-20).

5. pray that spiritual gifts will give a fresh release of the power of God (1 Peter 4:7-10, 1 Corinthians 2:4).

6. pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Pray for small group leaders, senior elders and elders, and apostolic leadership.

7. pray for unity, reconciliation and restoration (John 17:20-23). Pray for biblical relationships in families, churches and throughout the body of Christ.

prayer Journal

DoVe international is a worldwide family of believers in Christ involved in churches

and ministries located in six continents. As an international family, we are diverse in culture and background but share God-given vision, values, mission and commitment to start and nurture churches and ministries and to transform communities throughout the nations.

We are called by the Lord to labor with Him to build His church from house to house, city to city and nation to nation. We encourage local church leaders to train God’s people to be-come spiritual fathers and mothers who nurture and release believers to minister through small groups and in their communities. God has called us to be people of prayer, to make disciples, to reach those who need to know Jesus and advance the Kingdom of God. Our international family of churches is just one of many new apostolic movements God is birthing and releasing today. We stand together with the rest of the Body of Christ to advance the kingdom of God in every nation.

DOVE is an acronym for “Declaring Our Victory Emmanuel.” Our international family is called to declare our victory in Emmanuel (God with us) as we experience living the Kingdom – transforming our world.

Our vision is to provide a prayer covering for the DOVE family around the world every hour of every day of the week. The Prayer Watch maps out the week with 42 time slots. When all time slots are assigned to Prayer Generals, we have 24/7 prayer coverage.A Prayer General solicits volunteers to pray during a designated four-hour time slot weekly. These Prayer Warriors commit to pray weekly for the DOVE family during a specific time slot allocated by a Prayer General.The Prayer Journal is compiled annually with prayer requests from each DOVE partner church and regional apostolic leaders. The Jour-nal is a tool used in praying for the DOVE family worldwide. The Prayer Journal is available online and may be downloaded for your convenience.A Prayer Journal Update is sent by email with updated prayer requests. Pray that many more people in this area will acknowledge Christ as Lord and be delivered from the grips of the enemy, especially from drunkenness and witchcraft. Kibera DOVe Desert streamstobias & Judith OlooPraise God many have been coming to Christ through evangelism. We have seen deliverance of young people who had

been trapped in drunkenness and drug addiction. It is exciting to see God at work in this way. We praise God for an increase of students in Desert Streams School. Pray for peace in both the school and church families. Pray for many mothers who are left to care for their children in situations of extreme poverty. Pray they will find jobs. Pray that God will use us as a beacon of light and hope.

all the gifts in our midst. Pray for grace and favor in the community.

DcF KAsiNGAJonah & Stellamaris KisingaWe thank God for the grace and favor He has given us to reach the lost with the good news of the

Kingdom. We have started LOVE day once a month for feeding the hungry with a goal to reach them with good news. Pray for effective discipleship within the body. We thank God for being able to buy part of a sound system; pray that we can acquire the remaining parts needed.

Kibwezi DcFCaleb MwanziaWe thank God for His favor and for bringing salvation to many who joined us. We thank God for providing a keyboard, which has

made a great difference in the worship services. Pray for us to be able to construct God’s house on our land. Pray for us to install electricity and to be self sufficient in a food supply. The area is hit with hard drought and lack of food supplies due to prolonged crop failure.

Kimua DcF Boniface & Margret MutungaWe thank God for healing the area from the spirit of witchcraft and sorcery when we held a day of prayer. We thank God

for adding to our number such as should be saved. We thank God for giving us a well of fresh water—this is a tremendous blessing! We have a burden to plant churches. Pray for laborers for the harvest, especially for new church plants, and for our pastor to have a reliable means of transportion to reach these new areas.

Nyarombo DcFNelson Ochieng Thank God for numerical and spiritual growth among members. God has been raising up those who can take leadership and stand in the gap and we praise Him. Pray we will bring a holistic message of God’s love to people of our region. Pray that many will be delivered from false religions and come into the Kingdom of our Lord.

kenya: ukamBani regionDaniel & rebecca mbitiapostolic team leaderWe thank God for the formation of a Leadership Council for our region.We have launched an Apostolic Church

and developed a training curriculum, which meets once a month and is composed of pastors and their wives. These meetings foster unity and singleness of heart in ministry. We rejoice in the three new churches planted last year. A goat project is motivating young people to be responsible and committed. Praise God! Our theme is “Equipping the saints for the work of ministry.” Pray God will enable us to fulfill this vision, have a successful school of ministry and a good leadership conference in August. Pray for us to establish a source for financial income for ministry. Pray for men, women and youth movements to be vibrant and resourceful.

Pray and believe with us to purchase a sound system this year and to plant another church in the Techno city of Konza.

We thank God for tremendous favor that DMA missionaries have experienced in the communities where they are sharing God’s love. Pray for protection, wisdom, good health and renewed vision for each one. Pray that the churches in DOVE Africa will be better able to support and embrace them financially as well as spiritually. We are planning for members of the DMA Council to visit every missionary this year for a Missions Conference and Retreat in August. May God honor these plans and provide what is needed.

What is the prayer Watch? The Prayer Watch is a plan to cover the DOVE family in prayer. It functions with men and women throughout the DOVE family who have a heart to pray. It is organized by Prayer Generals enlisting for a segment of time each week, working together with other Prayer Generals to give 24/7 prayer coverage. a prayer General solicits volunteers to pray during a specific four-hour time slot

each week. Their willingness to find Prayer Warriors to help cover a time slot is essential for the Watch to be complete. Each partner church is encouraged to have at least one Prayer General. Check this Journal for a list of Generals who faithfully serve.a prayer Warrior is a committed member of a partner church or house church. Each warrior commits to pray for the DOVE family during a specific time slot each week in cooperation with a Prayer General. this prayer Journal is a guide to pray for partner churches, regional apostolic councils and ministries. Anyone may use this Journal to pray for the DOVE family worldwide, whether or not they are part of the Prayer Watch. The Prayer Journal is available online to download and print.
