This is one of three poems that Shaykh "#li$ al%Ja&far', may Allah be pleased with him, attached to the end of his edition of the litany "Kanz as%Sa&#da" by Shaykh A$mad ibn Idr's, may Allah be pleased with him.

Shaykh "#li$, may Allah be pleased with him, mentioned the following story in connection with

these poems. He saw, in his sleep, the Sayyid &Abd al%&(li, the son of the Sayyid A$mad ibn Idr's, may Allah be pleased with them both. In this dream, Shaykh "#li$ said to him: "Teach me a supplication that can make things easy for me." The Sayyid replied: "Where is the rhymed composition you have written, which guides to Taw$'d?" This was understood by Shaykh "#li$ to refer to these three poems. He then printed these three poems along with the 'Kanz as%Sa&#da'.

Shaykh "#li$ gave permission to everyone to recite these poems:

"I give permission to all my brothers to recite the 'Kanz as%Sa&#da' and these poems, seeking the acceptance of Allah and his good reward."

As for the benefits of the poem presented here, the 'Prayer for Swift Relief and Ease', Shaykh "#li$then related the following:

"One of the Shaykhs from Libya told me about a person who had a need from another, but never found the latter. This person recited 'The Prayer for Swift Relief and Ease' forty%one times. The very next morning, the man he had previously been unable to find came looking for him.

He mentioned this story to someone else, an employee who had not received a raise in pay for a long time. This employee then recited this same prayer forty%one times. The very next day, at )uhr, his employer called him into his office and asked how long he had been working for them. Then his employer awarded him a raise not just in pay, but also in position as well.

After that, many people flocked around whoever had the 'Kanz as%Sa&#da' and began to read the litany and the compositions. And praise belongs to Allah for that."

Then Shaykh "#li$, may Allah be pleased with him, gave the following counsel:

"And from the principles of our " ar # qa is that we read everything for the sake of Allah the Exalted."
