Prayer in Action

A new patient came to the WSHS Dental Clinic for treatment and seemed very distressed. As he waited our Campus Pastor Michael and a volunteer, who comes to pray with staff and clients, walked by. I sensed the patient wanted prayer but didn’t ask. So I asked him if he would like them to come back and pray with him. The patient said, “Oh yes, I want prayer. I want to be free of my drug problem and to live a better life”. I called Michael and Lenny back to pray for the patient. After prayer, the man’s demeanor changed, and he appeared more at peace.

The patient has followed up several times with Michael and is doing well. Praise God for His redemption and freedom in our precious Savior Jesus!
