Thank You!

December! A month full goodwill, a spirit of giving and wishes of peace. A month to give gifts to special people who grace our lives with their friendships.

Water Street Ministries has a group of people who gift us (the staff and clients) daily, weekly, yearly and more. They are our volunteers.

The volunteers who bless the development department (where I work), have served many years longer than me. They have become an integral part of our family.

Last year, over 2,400 volunteers served more than 75,000 hours of their time to our programs, including hours of mentoring our clients, cleaning, painting, sorting clothes, serving meals, leading devotions and sharing time with teens. A group of women spend every Wednesday cleaning meat off turkeys and

chopping vegetables for meals. Some prepare receipts for mailing, work in the clinic, or fulfill a variety of other services for Water Street Ministries. Their time and talents help us provide for the needs of our clients and the community.

This Christmas we would like to give them a big THANK YOU for all they do. It seems a small gift for the service they provide, but we wish God’s blessing on their lives and the lives they touch each day. We love our volunteers!
