People from 1,575 language groups have no access to Scripture. Ask God to give hope to those still waiting to read Scripture for the first time. Pray for global communities to receive God’s Word with joy as it becomes available.

Pastor Malasi is translating the New Testament into Tiwa for a community in Northeast India. Ask God to provide wisdom, strength, and resources to translators like Malasi as they strive to make his Word available in communities worldwide.
day 3Deaf People
70 million people worldwide use sign language as their first or only language. Pray for the translation and distribution of Scripture in sign language so that deaf communities can encounter God in a Bible they understand.
day 4Local Churches & Pastors
Ask God to give local church leaders wisdom for sharing God’s Word with their congregations. Pray that church members discover how to explore the Bible, especially in areas where people can’t read.
day 5Bible Translation Agencies
Praise God that a global coalition of Bible ministries is already working together to accelerate translation work. Ask God to continue unifying organizations and translation agencies working to translate the Bible into 100% of the world’s languages.
day 6Oral Communities
The Ovaherero people of Namibia are an oral culture waiting for a Bible. Pray for their hearts to be transformed when they hear God’s Word in their language for the first time. Ask God to guide those working to produce audio Bibles for oral communities in Namibia and wherever illiteracy is a barrier.
day 7Unreached People Groups
People in the remote village of Kagera, Tanzania, had never heard of Jesus until last year when they saw the JESUS film and listened to Audio Scriptures. Pray that God’s Word will continue to reach people in the most remote regions of the world with salvation and hope.

There are 22.5 million refugees worldwide, over half of whom are under the age of 18. Ask God to comfort all those living in refugee camps due to violence in their nations. Ask God to continually provide for their physical and emotional needs.

Moussa fears terrorists will attack his village in the Sahel region of Africa. Ask God to protect vulnerable children like Moussa who are abandoned, abused, facing poverty, living in war zones, or are in danger of being exploited. Pray that God will bring them peace and keep them from harm.
day 10Disaster Victims
Ask God to bring hope to survivors of natural disasters whose lives were shattered by earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, and other storms. Pray that they will discover peace in God’s love and turn to him for hope.
day 11Hurting Women
Women unjustly exiled to remote camps in Ghana are finding healing in God’s Word. Ask God to heal women worldwide who suffer from physical, emotional, and spiritual wounds. Pray they discover power and joy in God’s Word.

Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors because of their belief in Jesus Christ. Pray that God would strengthen persecuted believers and that they would draw encouragement from his Word.
day 13Imprisoned People
97% of incarcerated women and 75% of incarcerated men experienced trauma prior to imprisonment. While in jail, Harmony came to faith in Jesus and was healed from her past trauma. Pray for people like Harmony to be healed from their deep wounds of trauma as they bring their pain to Jesus, the Wounded Healer.

Miriam’s husband hurts her at their home in Jordan. He once tried to stab her. He punishes her for her faith in Jesus. When Miriam joined a trauma healing group, she found a safe space to talk about her suffering and bring her heartache to the cross. Pray that abuse survivors like Miriam—who often suffer in silence—will lift up their voices to God.

There are 1.3 million active duty Military members, 800 thousand reserve forces, and 18.8 million Veterans in the U.S. Ask God to heal troops and Veterans struggling with spiritual, emotional, and physical injuries. Pray they experience the comforting power of the Holy Spirit.

76 million Americans are Catholic. Pray for Roman Catholic Church leaders as they inspire church communities to explore God’s Word with fresh eyes. Pray for Catholic Christians to encounter Jesus’s peace and power in Scripture.

Coming in 2020, this immersive experience will invite Americans to explore the Bible in American culture. Pray for the 250,000 projected annual visitors to encounter the transformative power of God’s Word as they interact with the exhibits and stories of Bible-led Americans.

Ezperanza—a faith-based organization—is empowering more than 100 hispanic churches in Philadelphia to dig deeper into God’s Word this year. Pray for partners like Esperanza across the U.S. who work to transform their cities through the power of Scripture.
