Our city and collaborative is blessed with not one but two conferences of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Inspired by Gospel values, The SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person ser-vices to the needy and suffering, in the tradition of its found-er, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent’s helps those that need a little extra help in our parish communities. Whether if its lack of money for oil in the winter, electric, gas or food- St. Vincent’s helps those in most need here in Beverly.
Brian Murphy is responsible for the conference that covers people living in the parishes of St. Mary’s and St. Mar-garet’s while Roel Kromhout and Bill Phelan are responsi-ble for the conference covering the territory of St. John the Evangelist Parish.
Please remember them when leaving Church this week.
On Sunday February 26 after the 10:45 Mass, join us in the lower church for a Mardi Gras Jazz Brunch, featuring live music from the Wolverine Jazz Combo, prizes and food provided by our local vendors. The Jazz Brunch is presented by the Stella Series and sponsored in part by a grant from the Beverly Local Cultural Council.

For over 30 years, volunteers from our parishes have met at
St. Peter's Episcopal Church (4 Ocean Street) on the 4th Fri-
day of every month to cook and serve a nutritious meal for
35-40 guests who would otherwise go without. This meal has
been funded by the St. Vincent DePaul Society from St.
Mary’s.
We would like to acknowledge Belle McMorrow, Dot & Ron
St. Pierre and Bruce and Cindy Breton who have been ex-
traordinary in their time and efforts for many years, helping
to feed and serve those less fortunate. We owe them our
sincerest gratitude for all their hard work.
Please consider joining us to serve Jesus in an environment
of fellowship and goodwill. Monthly help is welcome for set-
up, food preparation and cooking (4-6 pm); serving and
cleanup (5:45-7 pm); or both. For more information or to
give it a try (recommended for those 18 and older), please
