Senior Design Engineer (Fire Protection and Mechanical Systems )(2011-2014) ROLE

• As a senior design engineer at Fire Engineering & Mechanical system Team at Larsen & Toubro Ltd

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Responsible For Design the fire protection system –sprinkler system, Internal Fire hydrant and Hose

reel system ,yard hydrant system , deluge systems , fire detection and alarm system , fire extinguisher

and signage’s, gas suppression system ( FM200 , NOVEC 1230 , Inergent ), Aspiration smoke

detection system, water spray ,foam system ,water mist system etc..

• Risk assessment, HAZID Study, prepare cause and effect matrix for the system.

• Cost Estimation analysis and Tracking

Senior Design & Estimation Engineer (2014-Present ) ROLE

• As a Lead design & Estimation engineer at ALBILAD Fire Fighting System Ltd

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Responsible to Receive RFQ for the new projects, review and made site survey for the project.

• Study the hazard classification for the project , select and propose a suitable firefighting system for the

project with respect to the scope of work and standard

• Prepare a preliminary Firefighting and Fire protection system scheme and design for the project with

respect to the standard & commercially feasible solution to end customer

• Estimate the bill of quantity and costing. Develop a proposal for the project estimate.

• Submit the bid price and follow up with the client.

• Technical clarification & Compliance with client specification and standards

• Responsible for Client / consultant meeting for technical clarification and price negotiation until the

project is getting bagged.

• Review TBE of client and work with the contract document to win the project in a profitable margin.

• Assist and monitor the Design engineer and draft person in developing approval and detailed the

firefighting system drawing for client / consultant submission

• Networking with client and vendor in good relation for the future projects in order to achieve good

ProjectTitle: “Predictive Maintenance Model Development Using Life Prediction Methodology”

The model has been developed and implemented to a forging press shop floor. In which the failure of the

components in the press is unknown. The model using the tool of FMEA and ANSYS work bench and

viscosity deviation (SACODE Methodology) have been used to predict the life of the critical component

.model conclude with the alert indication before the failure occurs. By the model the safety inventory limit

and machine down time is been drastically reduced.

UG Project:

Project Title:“Design of Over Head Crane with Electromagnetic Chuck”

An Over head crane with a V- Shaped electromagnetic chuck has been designed and modeled.

To reduce the labor effort in handling MS-rod of 6 ft long and 30 kg weight to a cutter machine.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Presented paper on “predictive maintenance model development using life prediction methodology”

in National level Conference held at Kumaraguru college of technology
