seen

result of
Brother Akira Oda's
preaching in
our fall evangelistic meeting Mino
was baptized on Sunday, Nov. 4th. We
were
happy to learn that Ry ohei Koizumi, (see fa
our exchange student at
St.
Louis, Mich, was baptized there on that very same
Sunday
Hank McAdams,
who
is
also his host. No
sooner had December begun, than Miss Mine Kiha
junior high stud ent determined
to be
baptized in the chilly evening water
of
our outdoor ba
She
was lead
in
her
decision by
the influence
of
our
very youngest Christians.
In
the
aforementioned Epistle, we introduc ed Debbie Eikeland as nephew

After
a very
brief engagement they
were-jnarried
on

Debbie's
mother

come
from
Anaheim, Calif,
for
a
week
of
preparations and for the ceremony.
The newlywe
in
an apartment
here in
Isehara about 35 minutes
from
Atsugi Naval Air
Facility

serves. They are invaluable to
the
work as examples and
as
leaders and
house.
Only
the Lord could
have
planned for his
assignment so
near
by.
Christmas programs at the Junior
College,
Jr. High School were over early
in
the month. T
of our time was spent visiting the children's hospital, caroling, in the Sunday School pr
a candle light
service
and church sukiyaki dinner. Along with
people
all over Japan, o
enlisted customers
to
visit the local movie theatre
to
see
"Shiokari Mountain Pass". Th

upon
Ayako M iura's best selling Christian novel. P ra y for its influence and that

of
Kings".

a Japanese family , a Viet Nam student
a n d - -a^sailor from Minnesota as well as Rod and
Debbie.

building is special because the
local people will be paying for more
