Dear Christian
friends,
Wora than five
months
have passed since our plane alighted at Indianapolis. Six
iHseks of Christian Service Camps and nearly
half
a
semester
of contact with students
at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary have given us
a
spirit of optimism about our
youth.
Hundreds of them
have answared
His call by saying, Lord, we
are
able . Kay
their
tribe Increase. World
events
in these
days
point up the tremen ous need for ambassa-
dors of
the
cross on every front. Pray ye
the Lord
of the
harvest.
Without exception we have had
enthusiastic receptions at each
of our *livlnQ«
link churches. We praise
the
Lord for
this relationship
with
all
of you and thank
you
from the bottom of our
hearts
for your
fellowship in
the gospel .
We
do, too
appreciate
the interest
you have
shown
In
our teaching ministry at
C.6.5.
and
in
our
desire
for more
schooling
during this year
of furlough.
We
are
sorry
that because of
my misunderstanding
we were unable
to keep
our
data
with the

f t e y b a
we
can get together again.
Here is good news from
across
the
seas.
During the early part of August eleven
young
people from Isahara
participated in
notosu Christian Camp at the foot of f i t .
Fuji, marine Sargeant Abel Perez served
as life guard
and chauffeur
for
them.
He
was
a
big help, too, to
H ldeto Yoshll, junior student at
Obllln University who
took
care of our house and
guided
the work during the
summer
months. We owe a debt of
gratitude
to
them for keeping things 'alive'• They were more than happy to welcome
the Harold Sims
family
on August 30th. Typhoon side winds delayed the docking of the
S.S.
President Wilson which carried them
and
the Mark Waxey
family.
Now
the Sims
are
well established and
John,
Bob
and
Danny
are

quarters base school at Camp Zama. f l o r a recently the Osaka Bible Seminary team came
to Isehara for
a
Week of evangelism. We are told that more community folk than pre
viously (adults) attended. Two
young
ladies confessed faith
in
Christ. Naomi Tsubol
is a
junior high student and f l i s s Ito
Is
a third
year
student at Obilin University.
Re
joice with us over these two who
ware
lost
and now are found . Brother Sims also tells
about
beginning another home meeting
in
West Tokyo.
Pray for
him and for the Heeebes
in whom the meetings are being held.

it
