Praia Group: Mandate and objetivies
Mandate: address the issues of conceptualization, methodology and instruments in the domain of governance statistics.
Objectives:• To serve as an international forum for sharing and developing
expertise in governance statistics
• To review, propose and promote the definition and harmonization of governance statistics indicators, trough the development of manuals and methodological guidelines
• To contribute to development of the framework for measuring and monitoring peace and governance goals (SDG 16)

• Lack of financing resources
• Communications trough email is not efficient (people received to many emails)
• Raising countries awareness is not easy, specially because is a voluntary initiative
• Sharing information among the 10 cities groups currently established by the UNSC
