Established in 1948 by Karl Lindenberg, engineer, at this time chief designer of big water-cooled diesel engines at Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG, Cologne.

Chronicle

In the following years Lindenberg-Anlagen GmbH experienced an economic upturn so that in the year 1978 the building of new office rooms and production centres was carried out for increase of capacity.

The manufacture of medium and low voltage switchboard plants was added to the product range of the business in 1983.

Then in 1993 the construction of Marine generating sets was carried out.

We deliver on-board auxiliary, emergency and harbour generating sets.

These are produced according to the regulations of international classification societies. A standardized basic program on the basis of MAN marine engines is supplemented by special equipment according to the customer's requirement, in every range of power.

Our offices and workshop facilities are located in Rösrath, Germany, which is situated between Cologne and Bonn.

For increasing of capacity, in the year 2005 Lindenbergbuilt up the factories No. 2 and No. 3.

Currently we employ a total of 170 staff:

60 % in production, 30% in technical design and 10% in administration and sales.

The workshop capacity allows us to manufacture up to 70 units per month.

Our Engineering Department is utilizing the latest standard of CAD-equipment.

We are able to supply our clients with all necessary technical documentation about electrical and mechanical equipment of our generating sets.

Welding of Bedframe

In the production area for bed frames we employ welders with welding certificate of the relevant German approval institutes.



Our test bench

Each generating set will be factory tested before shipment in the company‘s state of the art generating set test shop.

Full load test for individual sets or parallel operation is obligatory.

The testing are according to classification societies‘rules in the presence of the classification society‘s surveyor.
