Practice with Area, Perimeter and Circumference

Sometimes we have to find area or perimeter of odd shapes.

Find the area of the following

shape.

You have half a circle. Find the area of a

circle and then divide by 2.

You also have a rectangle. Find the

area of the rectangle.

A = L*W

Add the two together to find the

area of the complete shape.

The diameter of the circle is also the

width of the rectangle

But for the formula we need RADIUS.
